Raw Cookie Dough Bites

When you are shifting away from sugar these are a great addition to your diet. I used to eat cookie dough by the handfuls (butter, sugar, flour), but now these tasty wholefoods, raw treats do the trick!

 

Ingredients

  • ½ cup raw organic almond butter (or any combo of a nut butter..except peanut)
  • ½ cup hemp seeds
  • ½ cup shredded coconut, organic
  • 5-8 pitted medjool dates (depends on your desired level of sweetness)
  • 1 tsp vanilla powder or liquid vanilla
  • ¼ cup raw cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp. ground chia or flax seeds for added fibre boost

What is beneath your sugar and caffeine cravings?

When you desperately feel like you need a cup of tea or a cup of coffee or some sort of sugar (it doesn’t mean dipping your hand in a bag of skittles, it could, but it also means wanting bread, pasta, muffin, cookies, chocolate, sweets, alcohol, pop, juice and anything that is calling your name that has sugar in it)
