Fat Cells Store Toxins

Losing weight SUCKS!!! 

It requires effort, persistence and patience.  It’s hard to notice weight gain (especially if you rely on a scale because as we age typically more fluffy fat takes the place of dense muscle and so your weight may not change but your body shape will and how your clothes fit will (don’t get in the habit of elastic!!))

Weight gain creeps up and you either choose to ignore it, buy bigger more elastic clothes or do something about it.

The other thing that SUCKS is that we are duped into  false quick ways to lose weight that don’t work in the long run.

Losing weight isn’t about popping weight loss pills, starving yourself, buying low-fat/no fat products, etc…unfortunately you’ve got to outsmart these fat cells.

You need to supply yourself with lipase, an enzyme that breaks down fat into simpler substances – no there is no “quick fix” pill for this (or anything for that matter) so that you can carry on with your lifestyle habits – sorry. You must want to change! You must apply time and by patient.

If you eat a no fat/low fat (who knows what’s replaced the fat) diet you are keeping yourself fat.

You are actually turning on your fat storing enzymes called lipogenic enzymes. Way back when, this was crucial to our survival during the long cold winter months when food was scarce instead of our present 24-hour/365 day access to food. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy food all year long but not necessarily what is being marketed to us on a constant basis.

Ok, so what can you eat to fire up your fat burning lipolytic enzymes?

  1. Stay away from FAD diets, they do more harm than good
  2. Adopt a plant based diet as much as possible begin to shift, this has really helped me  bridge the gap to getting the 13 minimum servings of fruits a& vegetables that are required each and every day
  3. Rid yourself of  processed foods and animal products (while transitioning know where your meat is coming from and support local)
  4. Enjoy green leafy vegetables
  5. Fall in love with nutrient dense foods (fruits and veggies)
  6. Stop adding your cash to the $13 billion a year “diet pill – quick fix” industry that are ineffective
  7. Focus your attention on eating organic living foods that are full of goodness – vitamins, minerals, enzymes, essential fatty acids, amino acids, antioxidants and fibre. I love my Tower Garden which give me “chemical free – beyond organic” produce 365 days a year
  8. Let your taste buds learn to love sprouts and seeds (hemp, flax, chia etc)
  9. Drink plenty of water (but ditch the plastic)
  10. Find out about internal cleansing. This is what I use.
