How do you ground yourself?

When life gets hectic and you seem to be reacting to what and who is around you…take a moment and colonize awareness in your body. Energize yourself through this awareness. Establish boundaries and notice where your energy is “leaking out”.

Enjoy this powerful experience of transformation.

I can honestly say that practicing mindfulness has made me a much calmer person and more in the moment. I am definitely more grounded, calm and centered in my day. It can seem overwhelming because you think how can 3 minutes make any difference – but it does. Ask my class participants – they feel it too!!!

During core conditioning we have been focusing on being present with every move – not the final move.  We are cultivating in class this awareness through “slow flow” which is a natural therapy for stress and anxiety and also incorporating poses that are restorative to our mind, body and spirit.
