Class Descriptions and Pricing
Often I hear that it is intimidating to start a class. What if I can’t do everything? What if I can’t keep up? Do I need to get in shape first?
Class participants say that……..When I first came to Move Your Body Studio I was limited in my strength, stamina and flexibility. Shortly I began to feel stronger and leaner. I could see positive changes in my body shape. Mentally and physically I felt better and looked forward to the classes. Sleeping was always an issue and that improved immensely. My advice…just start. Tanya is the most experienced teacher I have EVER had in my life – she will be there to hold your hand!!!
I have noted all of the easy, gentle, reduce pain classes in PINK.
9:00am-10:00am–Core Conditioning with Meditation
A combo of gentle Pilates, Yoga, Roller, Stretching and Postural work.
The last 15 minutes are dedicated to more focused breathing and meditation, ending with a gentle head massage (can opt out).
You are encouraged to work at your own pace and this class is extremely beneficial for anyone who has back, knee, hip, shoulder, etc. problems or for those that never want those problems
$18/class or $165 for 12 weeks
Class participants say that……..Core Conditioning with Meditation is an excellent “stretching, Yoga, Pilates combined” class. After every session my entire body is relaxed because it has been stretched and my core has been engaged. I love that Tanya focuses on posture, our hands and feet. I LOVE the relaxation at the end of the class!!! Excellent for your body as well as your mind. Thank You for being such an enthusiastic dedicated instructor. I’d don’t know where I’d be if I hadn’t started this class 2 years ago.

Lower Abs, Sexy Sides, Killer Core, On the Ball – class ends with meditation
Engage in real life functional movement patterns such as twisting, bending, pushing, & pulling executed in a FUN and creative way using balls, tea towels, weights and YOU. Core training, balance and flexibility are all included to create a total well rounded program. Your CORE is craving some Commotion!!

8:15am-9:15am – Muscle Mania
No cardio but the heart gets pumping with all sorts of weight exercises. Ideal for anyone who wants to tone their muscles and have fun! A fun calorie burning weight lifting class that targets every single muscle to its fullest potential with special attention to postural alignment! Excellent for any age and fitness level.
Bands, tubing, light and heavy weights, and balls are all used to mimic functional daily movements! Abs and stretching included.
The more muscle you have (instead of fat), the more calories you will burn all day. Remember, muscle tissue burns about 15 times as many calories as fat, even when you’re not exercising! Also, as we age, our muscles disappear so to keep your metabolic boost and your independence don’t miss out on this class!
$18/class, $150 for 12 weeks
Class participants say that……..The classes are never the same and when the class is over you know that you have exercised every muscle in your body. Tanya is very enthusiastic, energetic and motivational and makes classes fun! She remains focused on the exercise, constantly instructing us on the muscles that we are using and correcting any form that is done incorrectly. Any age is great but most of in the class are in our 50’s, 60’ and 70’s.
8:00am-9:00am – Melt Your Fat…BYE BYE
Maximum fat and calorie burn using weights, balls, tea towels & anything that will get your heart pumping and your fat melting away! Jumping is minimal and optional.
Class examples – Melt the Fat, Inner Outer Chisel, Full Body Workout. It’s different every week because our bodies need variety.
Class ends with meditation.
Class participants say that……..Unbelievable class…another one for the books. Honestly a totally wicked workout.
I love the combination of the two classes…I give it all I’ve got and then I totally relax and recharge.

Please note that once classes have started there will be no refunds issued. Accountability is key! If for any reason you miss a class you are welcome to make it up by going to another class during the session. Payment is required to confirm your spot.
