Realign Restore Meditate

You may think walking is easy until you can’t do it. You may experience pain in your feet, knees and or hips. And although even without pain walking may seem simple, it’s a very complex movement as it involves balancing on one foot without your conscious awareness.

If you experience any pain with walking (or anything for that matter) or never want to experience pain then taking part in the realign Restore Meditate Class is for you.

“Life changing class. Tanya is teaching me things I never thought to think about when it comes to my posture, my movement, my thoughts and how easy it is to incorporate into my everyday.” – Vicki

When you have stuck stress (unbeknownst to you) in your legs it causes a break down in the hydration levels of your tissues and as a result you may experience joint compression, uncoordinated movement, stiffness, poor balance, muscle tension and more. Issues with your legs can also result in pain in your hips, back and neck.

Are you tired of feeling this pain? Or perhaps you never want to feel this pain.

“Unbelievable class…another one for the books. Honestly a totally wicked workout.

I love the combination of the two classes…I give it all I’ve got and then I totally relax and recharge.

Tanya, thank you for your help. I feel like I am in better shape now than when I was much younger.

Tanya, perfect workout all I could ask for. Thank you so much for the time and effort you put in to your classes.

On a separate note it has been one year to the day since my back surgery. Tanya I can’t say thank you enough for all the encouragement, support and hard work that you have provided me with.  – Chris

Torch the Fat Class – this class starts with a warm up and using a variety of equipment we ramp it up and add in some high-intensity interval training. You always work at your own level (what is hard for your neighbour may be easier or harder for you). It is a head to toe workout that will torch your fat!

High-intensity interval-type training also boosts human growth hormone (HGH) production. A 2003 study published in the journal Sports Medicine found that “exercise intensity above lactate threshold and for a minimum of 10 minutes appears to elicit the greatest stimulus to the secretion of HGH.”

Restorative Pilates and Meditation – Ahhh, time for relaxation and rejuvenation.  A combination of Pilates, Yoga, Melting and Meditation.  Amazing for anyone who has any injuries. Class ends with breathing and meditation.

before and after

Why do we do bursts of intense exercise in class….

Because they help you to get naturally stronger, leaner, fitter, healthier and even smarter. Sure some low level cardio is good for the heart once in a while, but the real results come from the anaerobic work.

Because it stimulates the growth hormone. The take-home message once again – if you want to get the most advantage from time spent exercising, pick those exercises that stimulate release of HGH naturally. It’ll take less time and you’ll show the results even sooner.

Short burst, high-intensity types of exercises create a phenomenal “anti-aging” effect. It’s a commonly ignored exercise technique that can make a most dramatic difference in your health.

The two primary anti-aging effects created by these types of exercises are:

  1. Reduced age-related telomere shortening, and
  2. Increased production of human growth hormone (HGH)

What is a Telomere?

Your body is made up of some 10 trillion cells, and according to one theory, you age because your cells age. Therefore, if you can control the aging process in your cells, you should be able to control your aging, and this is where stopping age-related telomere shortening comes in.

Your telomeres shorten every time your cell divides, starting at the moment of conception. Think of your telomeres like the ends of your shoe laces.  You have the ability to keep the ends from shortening by what you put in your mouth, your lifestyle and your exercise!  WOW!!!
The pituitary gland is about the size of a pea and it sits at the base of the brain behind the nose. Even though it is small, this does not take away from its importance to the body. It produces human growth hormone (HGH), which is quintessential for growth when you are an adolescent. Once you are fully grown, HGH is responsible for the proper functioning of organs and tissues.
See you on Saturday mornings!!!
