Kiwi Krazy Smoothie

Are you krazy for KIWIS?  They provide an excellent source of Vitamin C, very good source of dietary fibre, antioxidant (= anti-aging) vitamins E and A, and minerals such as potassium, magnesium, copper and phosphorous.

All this kraziness gets me going in the morning!!! Try it and see if gets you moving too!  Trade in your traditional breakfast and give this a go.

  • 1 red grapefruit peeled and seeded
  • ½ lemon peeled and seeded
  • 1 kiwi (peel if not organic)
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seed
  • 1 tsp matcha green tea powder
  • 1-2 frozen bananas
  • 2 cups spinach (can be frozen)
  • 1-2 cups water
  • Add pitted date or a few drops of stevia if you need more sweetness

Blend in your vitamix or blender until smooth.

Mango Tango

mangoMakes 1-2 servings

Drinking these smoothies makes me want to dance for joy!!! Let me know if you break out into the tango or any other dance!!!

  • dancing the tango
  • 1 whole pitted & peeled mango
  • 1-2 cups lettuce
  • 1/2 cucumber peeled
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup parsley and cilantro
  • Half of a lime, peeled
  • 2 tbsp Chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp Hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp matcha green tea powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • Add 1-2 pitted dates if more sweetness needed

  • 1 small frozen banana
  • ¾ cups raspberries
  • ½ – 1 cup water (depending on desired thickness)
  • 1 tbsp peanut or almond butter, (natural, organic,raw)
  • 2 tsp hemp seeds
  • ½- 1 pitted date

Supercharged Strawberry Smoothie

Serves 1-2

  •      1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen)
  •      ½ an avocado flesh
  •      1-2 handfuls of spinach
  •      1 tsp matcha green tea powder
  •      5-10 drops stevia (depends on how sweet you like it)
  • 1 scoop or packet Vanilla Juice Plus Whole Complete
  •      1 cup water
  •      ½ cup ice
  •      1 tsp- 1 tbsp spirulina or Vitamineral Greens or 91-1 (optional but adds a super green charge!!)
