Christiane goes on to explain that when something does go wrong in your body, it’s a wake-up call to pay attention. Perhaps you haven’t been conscious of the issue or emotion until it shows up physically. Have the courage to go deep within yourself and honestly look at what is going on in your life, what are your thoughts and beliefs that you keep repeating in your mind.

Take a moment and check into your beliefs regarding each of these statements (provided from The Genie in Your Genes book)…when you ask yourself the following points or state each sentence, how does it resonate in your body. Can you see a link between your thoughts and your health?


  1. I give myself permission to do what I love
  2. It’s okay for others to disagree with me
  3. I am able to function independently of others
  4. It’s easy for me to receive love from others
  5. I experience the presence of God within me
  6. Money is my friend
  7. My body heals itself naturally and quickly
  8. It is safe fun and easy for me to be slim and healthy


Take a moment to reflect, to listen to your body as its reaction to these statements. Notice any joy or discomfort. Take time to journal, deep a little deeper and enjoy the process.


During your days, be conscious of your thoughts and remember the power they have on YOU.
